Salary range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000 annually.

Edison Community College in Piqua, Ohio invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Controller. The Controller serves as the chief accounting officer and has primary responsibility for the College’s accounting and financial reporting functions. He/she maintains the general ledger and the budget in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. The Controller manages the Business Office functions including payroll, cash management, accounts payable, purchasing, accounts receivable, and billing.
A bachelor’s degree in accounting is required or a bachelor’s degree in another field is acceptable if the candidate holds a Master’s degree in accounting. Five or more years of accounting experience is also required and the candidate must have accounting or auditing experience within a public entity.

Provide leadership and direction for the activities involved in recruiting, admitting, testing, counseling, assessing, advising, and providing career guidance. Oversee enrollment services for all students, and devise strategies and programs for special groups.
Act as the primary student advocte in dealing with teh administration of the College. Interact with students relative to non-academic activities, discipline, and grievances. Assist and advise teh administration in developing policies and procedures related to students, student activities, enrollment management services, student development, student discipline system, college access programs and other areas as assigned.
