As the front door to higher education in Ohio, Columbus State Community College seeks an experienced strategic and visionary leader to further advance the institution’s mission and partnerships as the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Services. Reporting directly to the President, the Vice President is the chief student affairs officer and a member of the President’s Cabinet. The VP, EMSS oversees programs and services related to creating a campus climate that promotes the academic achievement, student success and personal development of all students and fosters collaborative relationships among students, faculty and staff.

VICE PRESIDENT, MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS

As the front door to higher education in Ohio, Columbus State Community College seeks an experienced strategic and visionary leader to further advance the institution’s mission and partnerships as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Reporting directly to the President, the VP, M&C is the chief marketing, communications and public relations officer for the college, and a member of the President’s Cabinet. This position leads and manages the college's marketing functions, internal and external communications, media and public relations, community and government relations, special events and publications production and creative writing functions.

DIRECTOR OF GATEWAY OPERATIONS

The Director of Gateway Operations supervises and oversees office planning, organization, coordination and reporting of operations and student services for admissions, retention, academic advising, access, registration and records. The position is responsible for maintaining consistency in policy and practice and for ensuring the employment of proven principles of excellent customer service in enrollment management. The position reports directly to the Special Assistant to the President for Strategic Initiatives in the Office of the President and works closely with senior management and the Gateway management team to develop and implement strategies that will achieve the College’s qualitative and quantitative enrollment and retention goals.

Serves as chief student affairs officer for Central Ohio Technical College and The Ohio State University at Newark; provides leadership and establishes direction and advocacy for the numerous student affairs units.

ACADEMIC DEPARTMENT CHAIR, BUSINESS

The chair provides leadership to the Business department within the School of Business, Information and Health Support Technologies.  Leadership includes ensuring that the curriculum is relevant, current and of high quality, student learning is assessed annually, programs are reviewed every three years, and semester schedules are developed to meet the needs of students while ensuring optimal use of college resources.  Additionally, the chair will recruit, hire and evaluate qualified faculty, manage the resources of the department including the accounting learning center, and support the College's recruitment, retention and success initiatives.

FACULTY | INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY

The Industrial Technology Faculty will be responsible for classroom instruction. They will provide leadership in the development, assessment, and evaluation of curriculum in existing courses, new courses, and related programs. They will actively participate in student advising. They will participate in department meetings, college committees, and facilitate industry advisory committees.

VICE PRESIDENT | WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT CENTER

The Workforce Development Center (WDC) is a self-funded division of the College. The WDC provides career training for individuals and addresses the needs of corporations, government agencies, and not-for-profits for high-value workforce education and training that fits their specific content, timetable and location requirements. This position is responsible to generate revenue for the College as a business operation while serving the varying needs of all internal and external stakeholders. As a member of the President's Executive Team, and the Dean's Council, the position is also interfaces with the leaders of all College Divisions and, as such, responsible for the College's strategic direction and performance results.
